Songcatcher is a group of four local musicians who perform traditional folk music at concerts, dances and special occasions.
Artist Philosophy / Bio
Don Burger, Deb Burger, John Carter and Joanne Murphy play guitar, mountain dulcimer, mandolin, concertina, hammer dulcimer, bodhran, harmonica and recorder, presenting a wide range of traditional and contemporary American and World folk music.
We specialize in providing musical support for area events, both public and private. We offer unique educational programs on the history of folk music in America, at camps, libraries and schools.
