Wood Artist working primarily in turned and carved native hardwoods.
Artist Philosophy / Bio
Tucker became passionate about woodturning in 2004 when he purchased a lathe and joined the
Carolina Mountain Woodturners and the American Association of Woodturners. For a few years he was
happy making utilitarian objects that were "brown and round", until in 2007 he became interested in
carving turned objects and took classes with Trent Bosch, John Jordan, Binh Pho and Jacques Vesery.
Once exposed to these artists, his work has never been the same.
