Linda works in watercolors, acrylics, oils, and pastels. She is also an author/illustrator of children's books. Her painting inspiration comes from her passionate love of animals and nature. She strives for her work to tell a story, bring back a memory or capture a moment. Born and raised in the New England area, she studied art and writing in high school and college. Working with local artist in Massachusetts, Maine, and Vermont, she perfected her work and painted landscapes consisting of old barns, bridges, and the country surroundings. Linda's art has been displayed throughout Central Florida. Residing in Florida for 32 years, she has recently moved to Transylvania County, NC where she enjoys the wonder and beauty of her new surroundings.
