Tara McDonald-Tiner, MAEd, has 10 years experience writing and editing. She was Western Carolina University’s former Distance Education Writing Tutor and was a writing and computer skills Learning Consultant at Southwestern Community College for six years, where she also taught World Religions, Sociology, and Study Skills. Tara trained with Coach University as a life skills and business coach. Her work appears in Mountain Xpress, Elevations, On the Mountain, and Carolina Architecture & Design.

J. Jubal Tiner, PhD, is published in The Baltimore Review, The Florida Review, Oxford Magazine, Puerto del Sol, Jabberwock Review, Dos Passos Review, Weber Studies, and elsewhere. He has 20 years’ experience teaching, editing, and writing. He is founder and editor of Pisgah Review, www.pisgahreview.com, owner of MIGSC Press, and former editor of The Cimarron Review and Midland Review. He has taught at Xavier University, University of Indianapolis, University of Dayton, Western Carolina University, and now teaches Fiction, Creative Non-Fiction, Film, and Composition at Brevard College.
