Come and meet our Pet Portrait artist, Rose Haynes. She will demonstrate art about 'Birds'. See her wonderful pen & ink and colored pencil artwork. She also does commission Pet Portraits. Bring a photo(s) of your pet and talk with her about doing a portrait of your favorite family member.

TRY POTTERY FOR A NIGHT Learn the basics and have some fun playing in the mud! 6 p.m. - 8 p.m. Adults Only. Cost: $40 per person. In the fall, winter and spring one-time classes are offered the first and third Saturdays of the month. Registration is required. Please register by noon, the Friday before the class is offered. Participants will be notified if a class does not make the Friday before it is scheduled to run.

Family Clay Day - 9 - 11 a.m. Theme: Secret Hiding Places and Messages All ages and experience levels welcome. Cost: $35 per person. ALL CHILDREN MUST BE ACCOMPANIED BY AN ADULT. Come and learn hand-building basics and have some fun getting muddy and expressing yourself. All ages welcome. You create it, pick your glaze colors, and we take care of the rest. Creations are ready for pick up in two to three weeks. In the summer one-time classes are offered every Saturday. Registration is required. Please register by noon, the Friday before the class is offered. Participants will be notified if a class does not make, the Friday before it is scheduled to run.

Brevard's 4th Friday Gallery Walk - by Transylvania Community Arts Council

Brevard's 4th Friday Gallery Walk is an Official Event of the Blue Ridge Parkway’s 75th Anniversary!! Enjoy an evening stroll in downtown Brevard as you enjoy visiting the art galleries, art spots and restaurants that are staying open late from 5-9 pm. Be sure to look for the 16 sculptures and five murals located in downtown as well. Galleries participating include: TC Arts Council, Number 7 Fine Arts and Crafts Cooperative, Red Wolf Gallery, Bluewood Gallery, Drew Deane Gallery, Gallery on Main, Hollingsworth Gallery, Hunters & Gatherers, Gravy, Local Color and Continental Divide. Be sure to stop by and have dinner in one of our downtown restaurants. A brochure for the gallery walks can be found at any of the participating galleries or at the Chamber of Commerce.
